Aisling graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2023, with a degree in musical theatre, where they were trained in acting, singing, and dance. During their time at university, they performed in various roles from 2021-2023 (Ensemble/Swing- Sweeney Todd, Somebody- Everybody, Eli- The Spitfire Grill, Sarastro- The Magic Flute, & Pythio- Head over Heels), including the Priest in the world premiere opera adaptation of The Trial of God. Besides acting, Aisling enjoys creative writing for the theatre. Thus far, they have written and produced a cabaret show with Zeider’s Fringe Festival, 27: A Cabaret, which explores the legacy of famous rock stars, and what it means to “make it” as an artist.
Aisling’s dream roles include Orpheus (Hadestown), Bobby (Company), Alfred (Alice, By Heart), and Prior Walter (Angels in America).
In their free time, Aisling can be found playing bass guitar and listening to their favorite bands (Fontaines D.C and I Don’t Know How But They Found Me). They also love to play Dungeons & Dragons (warlock is their favorite class) and reading (favorite books include The Great Gatsby and House of Leaves).
Forever passionate about their work, Aisling is continuously looking to grow their craft as an actor and as an artist. They believe in art’s power to inspire others, and they hope to inspire future generations to pursue their own creative passions, in the same way Aisling was inspired to pursue their own.
